How the ARMORY System Works

The ARMORY system is designed to be simple, modular, and adaptable. This page explains how the core gunstock, controller adapters, and optional accessories work together—so you know exactly what you need before you buy.

Start with the ARMORY-R1

The ARMORY-R1 is the foundation of the system. It provides the structure, balance, and handling that define the ARMORY experience. Every setup begins with this core gunstock.

When you purchase the ARMORY-R1, you select your VR platform and handedness so the system is configured to match how you play. From there, additional components simply adapt or enhance that core setup- they don’t replace it.

Controller Adapters

Controller adapters connect your VR controllers to the ARMORY-R1 gunstock. Each adapter is designed specifically for a supported controller type to ensure secure engagement, proper alignment, and reliable tracking during gameplay.

One compatible controller adapter is included with every ARMORY-R1 purchase. This ensures the system works out of the box with your selected platform.

Additional adapters are available for players who use multiple VR systems or want the flexibility to swap controllers without reconfiguring their setup.

Optional Accessories

Optional accessories are designed to enhance comfort, retention, and long-session usability. These components complement the ARMORY-R1 but are not required for normal operation.

Players can add accessories based on personal preference, play style, or session length. Whether you choose to run the core system on its own or fine-tune it over time, the ARMORY-R1 remains fully functional either way.

Configuring Your Setup

When purchasing the ARMORY-R1, you’ll be guided through a simple configuration process to ensure the system matches your setup and play style.

You’ll select your VR platform and handedness during checkout so the correct components are included with your order. From there, optional accessories can be added based on personal preference—but no additional configuration is required to use the core system.

The goal is to keep setup straightforward while ensuring compatibility and performance from the start.

Simple by Design

The ARMORY system is built to be modular without being complicated. Start with the ARMORY-R1, choose the configuration that matches your setup, and add accessories only if and when you want them.

Everything is designed to work together seamlessly—so you can focus on gameplay, not gear management.
